Good Evening Loves,

I hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend!

So I'm finally back with a brand new blog and I thought what better way to kick start it than with a review/first impressions of the palette that literally broke the internet. Yep, it's the Jeffree Star X Shane Dawson Conspiracy Palette!

I'm going to start with a little story time about the fact that I actually nearly had a full on tantrum at the age of 24 because I thought I wasn't going to be able to get hold of this - LOL! I was originally on the Morphe website, had it in my basket and then as soon as I tried to go on to the payment page it said it was out of stock already! This was a 5:06pm, bearing in mind the launch went live at 5pm in the UK - absolutely mental!! I did of course however manage to grab it on Beauty Bay after about half an hour of constantly refreshing the page trying to get on to the website.

Anyway - I want to start by saying this was literally worth every single penny. The packaging is incredible and the shadows are stunning. As I'm sure you all know this beauty comes with a mixture of 18 matte and shimmer shades. I'm not going to include any swatches in this post as I'm sure you've all seem the about a million times by now.

Taking it back to the packaging - it is so unique and I absolutely love it. I feel like the trunk style box makes it feel so luxurious and the attention to detail is just incredible. For example the tiny little pink Jeffree Star logo right in the centre.. I didn't even notice it at first until after really looking at it. It really is one of a kind in terms of packaging that's for sure.

Moving on, lets talk about the shadows themselves.. Now I have a couple of Jeffree Star products but no palettes so this was my first one and therefore I didn't really know what to expect. I am honestly blown away by the quality of these eye shadows! They blend effortlessly and are so creamy. I love the fact that there is such a wide variety of colours as it means you can create so many different looks by using just one palette. Also not to mention that the pan size of the shadows is fairly big in comparison to some other palettes which I think adds to the overall quality. You do get a bit of excess product when you dip your brush in to the shadows so that might be something to watch out for if you're not a fan of that sort of thing and are contemplating buying this palette, but for me personally that's not an issue at all.

Before I sign off I do also want to touch on the documentary and just say how amazing it was to be able to watch the whole process from start to finish - Having loved make up for years I was honestly mesmerized by the whole thing and found the insight they gave us so fascinating. If you haven't watched it I'm telling you now you need to!!!

So with that being said that's it for today by beauties. I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I am wishing you all good things for the week ahead.

xoxo
